Site News: Final Reminder On Paid Subscription Renewals
EDIT: I was incorrect on the rate decrease applying to previous subscriptions. Previous plans remain the same rate. The new rate of $5 applies to subscriptions going forward. Apologies for the confusion.
In an attempt to avoid blindsiding anyone about paid subscription renewals, here is another reminder that accounts will automatically renew starting in May.
I’m flipping the switch Saturday to resume paid subscriptions to the newsletter, but with a rate decrease to $5 per month or $50 annually. For instance, if you were previously charged on the 1st of every month, you will be charged $5 per month starting May 1. If you signed up for an annual subscription on Feb./March/April/May 1 of last year, you will be charged $50 on May 1. This applies over the course of this year to whatever your signup date was.
I’ve had a few questions since Wednesday about various things. Most of the questions will be answered once I flip the switch and resume the paid model Saturday. If you want to sign up for the paid plan, the button will reappear on the website this weekend and on Monday’s post. If you want to change your plan, options should be available starting this weekend. You currently have the option to cancel entirely if you so choose. If you run into any issues, please email me at the address at the bottom of this post.
A premium subscription guarantees access to the following:
Annual ebook guide to Braves system with every scouting report and featured stories.
Monthly updated player rankings and grades.
System-wide pro scouting reports posted and updated throughout each month.
Audio posts discussing anything Braves prospects.
A free subscription provides the basic information such as weekly notes and transactions, occasional feature stories and a monthly mailbag.
Now that I will have in-person looks at prospects again, I will be able to provide weekly to monthly evaluation notes and reports, and the once-a-month updated player rankings and reports. All of it will be based on my eyes and evaluation skills, not secondhand information.
Monday marks the beginning of weekly coverage by providing player notes, transactions, what to look for at each level over the course of the week and more. Weekly paid posts will include player reports, evaluation notes, audio recapping what I’ve recently seen and more.
As I said Wednesday, thank you for being patient and loyally supporting the newsletter despite having so little to cover over the past year. The numbers stayed consistent and solid during that span, and that’s more than I could have asked for. It’s my motivation to pay you back with the most in-depth coverage of the Braves minor league system in 2021. It begins next week.
