Braves Prospect Reports To Begin Nov. 16
Today marks the beginning of offseason prospect coverage here at BravesProspects.com. In this case, the offseason means more nonstop prospect content.
On Nov. 16, I will begin to roll out two scouting reports per post, meaning two on Mondays, two on Wednesdays and two on Fridays. These will be posted in backward fashion, so we’re going from the bottom of the list to the top.
The first post Nov. 16 will feature details on the Others list, followed by the 35+ overall group, then the 40s and so on until we reach the highest-graded prospect in the Braves system. That report will go live Dec. 23.
In addition to that final report just before Christmas, the culmination of this endeavor is a final product that organizes all of the reports and includes several notable feature posts. This product will be in ebook form and will go to premium subscribers as a holiday thank you for your support.
Each report will be in the form of an official scouting report. There will be a grade for each tool or pitch, and notes will accompany each grade along with notes on physicality and mechanics. There will be a final overall grade, a projected role and ETA.
I will post a sample report Wednesday to show what readers can expect. On Friday, I will post a scouting primer as a refresher ahead of the rollout. It’s a lot of information to take in over 17 days worth of posts, so a little preparation might be needed.
Every post in addition to the ebook will be for premium subscribers. There may be an occasional free post on an odd day if news breaks, such as affiliate or league changes and anything related to the winter meetings or transactions. Otherwise, everything from Nov. 16 to Dec. 23 will be premium content.
That means detailed scouting reports on two Braves prospects to your inbox three times a week for the next six weeks, everyone from Ian Anderson and Drew Waters to Stephen Paolini and Vaughn Grissom. Also, a final ebook that organizes every report and includes several feature posts.
Thank you to everyone for hanging in with me during a crazy year. I hope you all enjoy this work and the final product.
